Orange Agate & Citrine Mala for Joy, Pleasure & Sacral Chakra Activation (Limited Handmade Collection)

Our first mantra process of the year begins in January, and we are connecting with the Gayatri Mantra. Many of you have seen my own mala beads over the years and have asked about them — where they come from, how to use them, and what they represent.

Across cultures, this practice is universal. In Persian tradition, we call prayer beads tasbee. In India, they are known as mala beads. In Christianity, the rosary. Wherever we look, beads have served as companions for prayer, meditation, devotion, and contemplation since well before the 10th century. Different names, same intention: connection.

We are honored to carry a very limited collection of handmade malas crafted by a female maker. Each mala is traditionally hand-knotted with 108 beads and finished with a single guru bead.

About This Mala

This mala is crafted with Natural Orange Banded Agate and a Natural Citrine guru bead — a pairing that supports joy, creativity, emotional flow, and Sacral Chakra activation. Together, these stones awaken pleasure, playfulness, and the ease of being connected to your own desires.

It is finished with a burnt orange cotton tassel, symbolizing warmth, vitality, and embodied creative energy.

The number 108 is considered sacred in Hinduism and Buddhism. A full rotation of 108 repetitions is traditionally used to meditate with a mantra. This rhythm is said to activate the seven chakras through 108 energy lines that converge at the heart center — a path toward clarity, awakening, and self-realization.

Many people choose to wear their mala throughout the day as a reminder of their intention. This mala is made with a strong, long-lasting cord and is designed to withstand years of devotional practice.
