On October 14th, we experienced a powerful eclipse and I opened up the magical container of my mantra group to all. We first chanted the Ganesha Mantra, for removing blockages for our best and highest good, and then we breathed together with a transformational breathwork session.

None of us can change the world on our own - what we can do is focus on what we need to shift in our own lives to create harmony within. The fear and pain many people are feeling right now is devastating - it is affecting all of us even if we are not conscious of it because most of us are in a constant state of fight and flight.  

These cycles are a result of old patterning and trauma - deep and generational. Horrific acts of hatred beget the same. Science says solutions are hard to come by when the nervous system is activated. Humanity needs softness, vulnerability, and unification right now. So this is what we will do - we will welcome all, into our circle - asking for Ganesha's support in removing blockages. First for ourselves, in our own lives, and then for the world.

Our bodies store past emotions and trauma, which can activate our nervous systems causing, anxiety, illness, and stress. Through utilizing somatic breathwork therapy, Neelou will support the release of these stuck energies. She’ll take you on a journey within to first access and release the energies that no longer serve and then support your connection to the states of abundance, peace, flow, and joy.

Breathwork is an experience based in wholeness. It is a powerful healing modality utilizing the breath to heal old patterns, dislodge stuck energy, and balance the chakras. Practicing in a group setting (on Zoom or in person!) has a powerful collective healing energy that facilitates deep release. Neelou’s style of breathwork incorporates a two-part breath and an exhale. It's as simple as it is transformational and works to restore the healthy flow of Qi in our bodies. By breathing deeply you oxygenate the areas of your body that need extra attention, releasing any blockages, or stuckness, in order to release the energy to flow freely.

Best Practices:

  • It is important for you to have a comfortable, quiet place where you can lie down undisturbed for the duration of our meeting

  • Keep your meals light and don’t arrive with a full belly - you won’t feel comfortable breathing if you’re full

  • Bring water, a blanket, and something to cover your eyes with

  • It's ideal to be on your computer and not your phone for the session

  • Some people prefer to use headphones or earbuds for a more immersive experience but this is not necessary

  • Give yourself a little space after this session

  • It's best not to have to rush, drive, or be around a lot of people in the hours following your breathwork session

  • I suggest you take it easy for the remainder of the day if possible

  • Drink LOTS of water after your session to facilitate release.

I have not heard or done breathwork until Neelou introduced it to me. My experience was nothing short of amazing!
