Reading The Four Agreements can be transformative. This series is designed to move the teachings out of theory and into lived experience through inquiry, psychological exploration, and embodied breathwork.

WHAT IS THIS?

The Four Agreements 2.0 builds on the foundations of Neelou’s original Four Agreements workshop and expands the work through a deeper psychological and somatic lens.

For many of us, our lives are shaped by a blueprint of experiences stored within the nervous system and subconscious mind. These imprints inform how we see ourselves, how we relate to others, and how safe we feel expressing our truth in the world.

If our internal blueprint carries repeated experiences of not feeling safe, heard, seen, loved, respected, or valued, those patterns can quietly shape our choices and relationships for years.

The Four Agreements offer a powerful spiritual framework for freedom. In this updated series, Neelou and Laura explore how these teachings intersect with the psychological patterns and survival strategies held in the body and nervous system.

Together we begin the work of releasing old programming and creating new ways of relating to ourselves and others.

Each gathering includes live teaching, discussion, Q&A, reflection, and a transformational breathwork ceremony to help integrate the work on a deeper level.

1. Be Impeccable With Your Word

  • How does it feel to truly have a voice?

2. Don’t Take Anything Personally

Laura’s Bio:

Laura Aguila is a licensed psychotherapist and certified breathwork practitioner who integrates energy healing and somatic practices into her work with clients. Through a trauma-informed lens that focuses on the nervous system, Laura helps others come home to the truth of who they are. 

Breathwork is an experience based in wholeness. It is a powerful healing modality utilizing the breath to heal old patterns, dislodge stuck energy, and balance the chakras. Practicing in a group setting has a powerful collective healing energy that facilitates deep release. The style of breathwork Neelou teaches incorporates a two-part breath and an exhale. It's as simple as it is transformational and works to restore the healthy flow of Qi in our bodies. By breathing deeply you oxygenate the areas of your body that need extra attention, releasing any blockages, or stuckness, to release the energy to flow freely.

Best Practices:

  • It is important for you to have a comfortable, quiet place where you can lie down undisturbed for the duration of our meeting

  • Keep your meals light - you won’t feel comfortable breathing if you’re full

  • Have water available, a blanket, and something to cover your eyes with

  • It's ideal to be on your computer and not your phone for the session

  • Some people prefer to use headphones or earbuds for a more immersive experience but this is not necessary

  • Give yourself a little space after this session

  • It's best not to have to rush, drive, or be around a lot of people in the hours following your breathwork session

  • I suggest you take it easy for the remainder of the day if possible

  • Drink LOTS of water after your session to facilitate release
